South Branch Valley Railroad provides
rail service to Petersburg and the CSX line provides service
to the Mt. Storm area. If your transportation needs do not
require the use of railroad cars, there are a number of
local trucking companies that can quickly deliver your product
via well-maintained highways.
The Grant County Airport in Petersburg
is a full-service facility with a 5,000' paved, lighted
runway, automated weather reporting and instrument landing
capability. Air charter service is available as well as
hanger space for corporate aircraft.
The Petersburg Wastewater Treatment Plant
is a state-of-the-art treatment plant capable of processing
600,000 gallons per day, with a planned expansion in the
near future to 1,350,000 gallons per day. The plant also
produces composted bio-solids used as fertilizers or soil
amendments.
